We are a well established family run clearance company based in Maidstone, with over 25 years experience. We have gained a reputation throughout the area for providing a reliable, professional and respectful service.
As a licensed waste carrier, registered with the environment agency, if we cannot re-use or recycle any items, they will be disposed of legally and in the appropriate manner.
We are environmentally aware, and wherever possible we will re-use and recycle. We have an outlet at Maidstone West Station, where used furniture and reconditioned appliances are available.
We hold full public and employers liability insurance and subscribe to safe working practices.
Most house clearances tend to be required during traumatic times – bereavement, moving or divorce for example. At Steptows, we try to help and make it easier for you.
For your convenience, we are happy to liaise with solicitors, estate agents, friends or neighbours, either to view, or to do the work required.
Our service can be for the removal of a single item, up to clearing an entire house, including contents of drawers, cupboards, lofts, cellars, sheds and garages, leaving the property clear and tidy.
We can arrange a visit to see what needs to be done, as every job is assessed on its own merits. Some jobs we pay for, some we charge for, and some we do for nothing! We will give you a free, no obligation quotation, based on your individual requirements.
